Jovovich-Hawk kicks @$$

you know it.
Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk are geniuses. Pure.
Their amazingly ornate and simple frocks are a must.
I'm saving up for this. :)

that spring fashion is a must.

The warm weather of spring is compelling us all to break out our old clothes, but for some people that means new clothing. From vividly bright orange dresses, to tribal printed smocks, this spring’s fashion trends are sure to turn heads, and that’s of course in a good way.

I’ll admit it, I love magazines. Flipping through my subscriptions this month, a lot of trends from the runway caught my eye. One trend in particular is the tribal print. Designers such as Missoni, and Diane von Furstenberg have displayed their refined tribal look in both of their Spring RTW collections.

Another trend which sticks out from most of the rest is the “boy meets girl” look. With vests, pinstripes, suspenders, and booties all in style, you can mix and match with a fun girly piece such as a skirt or heels for a flirty yet polished look.

During spring, lush floral prints can never go wrong. Balenciaga’s spring collection can not be beat, with its flowery skirts and its matte-metallic sheens. Over at Luella’s RTW, they have captured this trend just as well as Balenciaga, pairing periwinkle colored cardigans over dresses with small flowers on them. Luella even made a dress with red silk flowers sewn onto it.

Luella does it right.

Spring 2008 runway lines also have sheer, flowing outfits in check. This style is best represented at ChloƩ and Rodarte. 99% of each collection is made out of sheer linens, and thin, gauzy fabrics. Most of which are dresses in rich jewel tones or white, and black.

One thing that I find a pleasure of having is the option of mixing and matching styles. It provides a flexible and comfortable way to stay in fashion and pull off trends, especially if you think you are pulling one head-to-toe trend off wrong. Whichever trend you pick this spring, you are sure to turn heads.
